Call (215) 843-0780 or email qlms84@gmail.com. Tell us your child’s age and the days you need. We will check the rooms for that age and tell you what openings we have. You can ask about hours, meals, and anything else you want to know before you visit.
Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join. You will meet the teachers who run it and watch how the room is set up for the day. Bring your questions about routines, rest, and meals. After the tour, you will know whether this is the right place for your family.
Enroll and settle in
Complete the enrollment forms and plan a first week that suits your child’s routine. We will talk with you about shorter days at the start, what to bring, and who will pick up. You can decide how you want to hear about the day. Then your child begins.
What to have ready
Most families have a few papers ready before the first day. You will need your child’s enrollment forms, a health form, and an immunization record. It helps to list emergency contacts and the people allowed to pick up your child. You can ask the office what else they need.
Pack a full change of clothes that can stay in your child’s cubby. Add outdoor gear for the season, such as a hat, boots, or a warm coat. For nappers, bring a small blanket and, if your child uses one, a comfort object. Label everything with your child’s name.
Before the first day, decide who will drop off and who will pick up. Tell the teacher how you want to hear about the day, whether at pickup or another way. Ask what the drop-off routine looks like so your child knows what to expect. A calm goodbye helps.
